Dinner with Friends

Saturday evening we went to dinner with friends we met at the Escapade in Gillette, Wyoming.  The four of us were taking the RV Bootcamp together and were sitting at the same table.  We ended up sitting together for the rest of the Escapade and we really enjoyed their company.  Joan and Chuck are full time RVing also and they lived and worked in Las Vegas before they moved into their 5th wheel.  Chuck managed the Casino Royal Hotel & Casino on the strip so he was a great tour guide.  We had dinner at the Outback Restaurant, located in the Casino Royal.  It is the busiest Outback in the world.  After dinner we took a walk through the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. There are more than 160 boutiques and shops.  They include Christian Dior, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Valentino, Versace, Burberry, etc, etc.  Not the shops I can afford to shop in, but fun to look in the windows.  Then we walked out to the front of the Bellagio to see the Fountains of Bellagio.  About every 30 minutes the Fountains become a large dancing water fountain synchronized to music.  Quite a beautiful show.  After the water show we walked into the Bellagio to their Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.  The conservatory is very unique and beautiful.  They had their Autumn theme on display.  So many different plants, pumpkins, water and light displays.  They change the display 5 times a year starting with Chinese New Year, spring, summer, fall and winter.  By the time we finished walking through the Conservatory it was time to start heading back to the car.  The streets were packed with people by the time we came back out.  It was a wonderful evening and Joan and Chuck made our evening very special.
