Pendleton, Oregon

We would recommend the KOA in Pendleton, Oregon.  Friendly, clean, nice sites and very quiet.  No trains, or traffic noise.  We left this morning at 9:00 am.  It was 55 degrees, cloudy and not raining.  We didn't have any rain until Boise, Idaho.  We stopped at Cracker Barrel in Boise for a late lunch.  Tonight we are in Hagerman, Idaho at Hagerman RV Village.  Very nice Good Sams Park.  The Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument (US National Park Service) is located here.  It contains one of the world's richest known deposits of fossil horses.  The Hagerman horse is Idaho's state fossil. (who knew there are state fossils??).

The fossils were discovered in the Hagerman Valley along the Snake River
