Grand Canyon Railway and Grand Canyon National Park

We arrived in Williams, Arizona Monday afternoon and parked our trailer at the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park.  On Tuesday morning we walked over to the depot to board the Grand Canyon Railway.  The Grand Canyon Railway leaves at 9:30 a.m. from the Williams Depot.  The train travels almost due north to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.  The trip is 65 miles and takes 2 hours and 15 minutes.  We went on a bus tour when we got off the train.  The bus went around the South Rim making stops for us to take photos.  The views are breathtaking.  We departed the Grand Canyon Depot at 3:30 for the trip back to Williams.  We even got robbed by a group of train robbers who boarded the train about 15 min out of Williams.  The trip was a wonderful experience and we are so pleased we stopped in Williams.
