We arrived back in Bothell, Washington on 11 March, earlier than we had planned. We were going to drive back up the Oregon Coast, but the weather was windy and rainy so decided to do Oregon coast another time. We have been at the Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell for the past month. We took care of our annual Dr & Dentist appointments for the next year; got the trucks hail damage repaired and spent time with family and friends. It was nice being back "home" for Easter. We did miss our Pastor Kevin Bates. He was called to a new church in the Magnolia area of Seattle. We attended his installation ceremony at his new church, Magnolia Lutheran Church. It is an beautiful older, neighborhood church. We will miss him. He had been Pastor at Advent Lutheran Church for 15 years. We went up to Bellingham after church on Easter for a delicious dinner with our friends, Terry and Renate. Lily had an Easter Egg Hunt in their yard. The weather was beautiful Easter weekend. It has been typical Spring weather in the Northwest....snow, rain, wind and sun.
Tomorrow we will be leaving Lake Pleasant RV Park and heading down to Lodi, California to attend The Western Area Rally for Escapees at the Lodi Grape Festival & Harvest Fair. We are expecting about 400 attendees. It is a 4 day event and should be a lot of fun. We will spend about a month in California visiting family and friends.
