Our Last Days AT SEA

Day 10 Wednesday, January 23 was our last formal night.  In the afternoon we participated in On Deck For The Cure a fun, 5K non-competitive walk around the ship's deck to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  It was a beautiful day for a walk.    At 10:30 pm it was the Dessert Extravaganza.  So many beautiful and delicious desserts. Everything was edible.

Thursday, January 24 was our last day at sea.  It was a day to get suitcases packed, finish up any last minute shopping and just enjoy the day.  Dinner was an International night with the dessert being a Baked Alaska.  All the servers paraded through the dining room singing and carrying Baked Alaskas.
Friday morning, January 25, the ms Zuiderdam docked in Fort Lauderdale.  We all met for our last breakfast together.  It was a great cruise and a wonderful group to spend time with.  Thanks to my sister for putting the cruise together for us.  Seems like it came to an end too soon.  We headed to the airport for our flights home and Pat & Roy went to pick up their car and were spending a few days in Florida.  We arrived back in Seattle at 7:30pm.  We have spent the last couple weeks back at the Thousand Trails Park in Bow, Washington.  On Sunday, February 17, we are hooking up our trailer and heading south  for a couple months.  We will be spending time in California, Arizona and Nevada.
